Sharing Knowledge & Methods for the Control of Invasive Species
![]() | FRIENDS is dedicated to the protection, restoration and long term management of biodiversity on a regional basis and the prevention of regional extinction of native plants, animals and ecosystems through education and awareness. Native habitats in many areas have been severely degraded due to habitat destruction, plant poaching and other human activities which is allowing invasive plants to out compete native plants in their own habitat. It has become clear that in order to preserve our native plants, setting aside conservation areas will not be enough!
